Nothing, above and beyond what I asked them to do, is done on my car without them first calling me to get my okay. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy and always recommend Automotive Service Garage to my friends and co-workers. When I first purchased my Acura, I took it to the dealership but found out that I was being charged for repairs that weren't being done. I learned my lesson and went back to Automotive Service Garage. They treat me like family.

I was having an intermittent "stuttering" problem with my 2004 Chrysler van that was driving me nuts. I took the van to Automotive Service with whom I've traded for many years and, after describing the problem, was told that it was transmission related but they would have to perform further diagnostics before they could let me know the extent of the repair necessary to eliminate the problem. Shortly thereafter Dennis Whitestone called me to ask some questions related to my reported problem and suggested that since they could not find any mechanical problem with the transmission that they perform a complete transmission flush, replace the fluid, and include a special additive made especially to eliminate the problem I described. Having utlmost confidence in his recommendation based on past experience, I agreed. What a relief, I had visions of a major transmission repair expense but was pleasantly surprised that it only needed a full transmission service costing far less. Once again Automotive Service Garage has convinced me that they consistently perform expert service for their customers and that they do so with integrity.

I am very grateful for your outstanding customer service and professional expertise. I brought my 2004 Toyota Camry into Automotive Service Garage and Mr. Whitestone diagnosed the problem immediately. He took the time to make sure I understood what was wrong with my car by giving me a detailed explanation of the problem. I appreciate you taking care of my car’s problem. It runs wonderfully now. I could not have asked for a better experience and would HIGHLY recommend Automotive Service Garage to anyone.

This automotive garage has got to be the worst I've ever been too. The owner has NO CONCEPT of modern cars... and I'm talking anything after 1980! (You'll notice that he's got a bunch of old cars from the 50s' and 60's in the shop). I went in to have him look at problem with my car... specifically, one of the cylinders/spark plugs was not firing. Not only did he not bother to listen to me, but he pronounced this to be a problem with "idling speed". Needless to say, that didn't help! When I offered up my observation again, he raised his voice and yelled at me: 'if you know what's wrong, get your car out of here and fix it yourself!" I was shocked. And all the other mechanics seemed quite nonchalant, like this happens all the time. I got in my car, and proceeded to drive out, when he said I needed to pay his fees. This is for LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES IN HIS SHOP, WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH A THING!!!! I said no way... and left with him yelling at me on the street. This is a completely unreliable and unprofessional place. Avoid it at all costs, in my opinion.
