Gadsby's Tavern Museum comprises two historic buildings, a tavern and a hotel, once frequented by the likes of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and other prominent figures. It's located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, between Washington D.C. and Mount Vernon. Visitors can tour the museum's collections of paintings, photographs, and other historical memorabilia, or sample special tavern drinks in the gift shop. In the summer months, Gadsby's also offers night tours of the facility.
