Commissioned in the late '30s, the Pope-Leighey House is a pivotal example of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Usnian design: a house both affordable and sturdy that incorporates elements from the surrounding natural elements. It's located on the Woodlawn grounds in Alexandria, near Mount Vernon. Visitors can tour the house and see how past residents utilized its modest size and furnishings to fit their lifestyle.
