The Collingwood Library and Museum on Americanism is a resource center devoted to information on American patriots and war heroes, especially regarding the Masons and other fraternal organizations. Housed in a colonial mansion first built in the 1890s, it lies just north of Mt. Vernon, near the bank of the Potomac River. Its nine-acre property was once part of George Washington's river farm.
